About the Contract Instructor platform
In this Data Collection Notice, references to "Contract Instructor", this platform" or "the platform" are to the contractinstructor.io website and any instructions form created using the contractinstructor.io website (whether or not accessible on that website or via another domain name).Contract Instructor is designed for use by lawyers and their clients. If you are a lawyer admitted to practice law in your jurisdiction, subject to your compliance with our Terms of Service, you may use Contract Instructor to create online instruction instructions forms ("instructions forms") for you or your clients to complete solely to generate draft documents using the responses provided to the instructions forms (each such document is described in this Data Collection Notice as a "Document") that you have been engaged by your client to draft. We do not provide legal advice or legal services. Our facilitation of the creation of an online instruction instructions form or the generation of a Document is not legal advice or a legal service.
The personal and other information you provide to an online instructions form will be collected by us from any person who completes an instructions form (lawyer or client) when they complete the form and will be disclosed to the lawyer who created the instructions form on Contract Instructor. We may also collect personal information from other sources, including company searches and a lawyer's legal practice management system. Personal information that we collect may also be disclosed to third parties that help us deliver our services (limited to our software developers and hosting providers who we have entered into confidentiality agreements or non-disclosure agreements with) or as required by law. Due to the nature of our services as a document automation platform, if you do not provide personal information to us, the Documents that are generated on Contract Instructor will not be tailored using that information and instead will be tailored using the anonymous data that you enter. If you prefer to do so, you may enter anonymous details into the instructions forms if you do not wish to provide your personal information to us when responding to the questions in an instructions forms.br>
